BriefThe goal was to create an identity that lived up to the weight of the subject while playing a supporting role. At its heart is a symbol that implores us to break the cycle of injustice. Two equal letter Js form a broken chain, which not only encapsulates a larger purpose, but also became the symbol for the new Legacy Museum. The bold simplicity of the broken chain led to a series of illustrations that highlight the Equal Justice Initiative's key themes and ideas with immediacy. Two equal letter Js form a broken chain that symbolises the themes, ideas and purpose of the Equal Justice Initiative. A symbol that implores viewers to break the cycle of injustice.
