First off, many thanks for spending some time here and taking a look at my profile. I've been truly lucky to have spent time with some incredibly talented people over the years and owe them all a debt of gratitude.
For those I have yet to meet, I was born in a small town called Port Jefferson, NY. The son of an English Professor and Ophtalmologist's Assistant, I would have surgery at a very young age to correct and strengthen the muscles in my eyes. It seemed only natural that a career in Art Direction would follow.
With my newfound superpower of not walking into walls and spotting the difference between milk and Elmer's Glue, I dove into the arts. In High School and college at The Fashion Institute of Technology I studied Art History, Graphic Design and Advertising Design. But being surrounded by Interior, Fashion and Toy Designers as well as Fine Artists, was what truly began to shape me and the work I would do. That, and the teeming streets of New York City.
I've called NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis and Detroit home for the past two decades and have found tremendous value in learning about life from each city. I bring that perspective to everything that I do in advertising and beyond.
I could bore you with artists I am following, comedians that I hold close to my heart or which Taylor Swift song is my guilty pleasure, but perhaps we can save that for when we meet in person.
Thanks again for taking some time out to visit.
Special thanks to the late, great Dr. Talevich for giving me my eyes.
