Linda Kaplan Thaler is a twenty year veteran of the advertising and entertainment business, recognized for her stand-out, talked-about campaigns. Her work for Kodak (?Kodak Moments?), Toys ?R? Us (?I don?t want to grow up, I?m a Toys ?R? Us Kid?) and Burger King (?Aren?t you Hungry?) have literally become part of the American pop-culture landscape.
Linda spent 17 years at J. Walter Thompson, where in addition to Kodak and Toys ?R? Us, she created award-winning work for Bell Atlantic, Northwest Airlines, Burger King and Clairol. In 1992, she was an integral part of the team that created advertising for the Clinton/Gore Presidential campaign.
Prior to starting The Kaplan Thaler Group, Linda was most recently Executive Creative Director at Wells, Rich, Green, BDDP where she led the creative team which won the Heineken business with the edgy ?True Conversations? campaign.
True to the company?s charter, Linda?s talents and experience go far beyond the advertising world. She has been involved in the writing and composing of a number of theatrical and television projects including off-off Broadway shows and the Emmy nominated ABC television special ?Room to Grow?. Most recently, New York Women in Communications honored Linda this year with their highly prestigious Matrix award.
