For as long as I can remember, I have loved the creative side advertising. At first, it was because of the art and the anthropological nature of the business—I was always fascinated with human behavior and what motivates people—but, as time passed, I also fell in love with the business side of marketing. The so-called boring, analytical numbers side that, in many ways, influences the direction of the creative strategy. Like a good song that perfectly balances the rhythm, melody and lyrics, I came to understand that the creative process can, and should, be applied to the business strategy as much as to the creative work itself. I have worked with marketing and sales organizations from small technology start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies to meet and exceed their goals. While I’ve won numerous advertising design and creative awards, the bottom line is always about increasing brand value and sales revenues. Some clients include: PayPal, Tellabs, eBay, Orbitz for Business, Kodak, Komatsu, and ServiceMaster, to name a few. Skills and Experience: • 15+ years experience as an Art Director, Associate Creative Director and Creative Director; including experience as a Global Marketing Manager for a $1.25 billion+ company. • Strong conceptual thinking and design skills. • Experienced at managing a team of internal staff and external resources; including web developers, writers, designers, photographers, illustrators, printers, etc. • Excellent knowledge of both print and digital environments, from concept development to execution and production. • Expert-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. • Extensive UX/UI design and production management experience of landing pages and websites for desktop and mobile environments. • Familiarity with FinalCut, HTML and CSS. • Strong organizational skills: ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks/assignments, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
