Creative director at Leo Burnett
Italy

About me

Born and raised in Milan, Marisa Agresti is a IED Milan graduate, where she studied Visual Art and Communication under the supervision of renown Dutch designer Bob Noorda.

During her college years, Marisa models for prestigious brands - such as La Perla and Laura Biagiotti - gathering firsthand experiences and precious insights of the fashion industry from up close and developing a passion for beauty, fashion and luxury goods.

Her first steps in the advertising business naturally follow in this path: starting her career at Livraghi, Ogilvy&Mather she is immediately assigned to international accounts like Bulgari, WWF, American Express and Seagram - for which she creates several campaigns.

After 4 years at Ogilvy, Marisa leaves for GGK Zürich and again for Pirella Göttsche Lowe in Milan, wanting to broaden her horizons and see other prestigious creative boutiques.
During this time, she has the opportunity to follow the italian launch of Glamour, a magazine by Condé Nast, and to create global campaigns for the Rinascente Group, Flos Lightning and Sisley, a Benetton Group brand.
She also follows works for national and international clients like Giovanni Rana, Castor white goods, Suzuki motors and Swiss Air.

In 1992 she enters Leo Burnett Milan, where she is appointed Client Creative Head of several accounts in the fashion industry such as Breil Jewels, Stefanel and Reebok.
At Leo Milan she also supervises campaigns for FIAT Automobiles, Ariston white goods, Merit PMI, McDonald’s, TIM and Telecom.

In 2004 she started working for the P&G FEMCARE hub in Milan as EMEA Regional Creative Director for the launch of Envive by Always.
In 2007 she won the global pitch on P&G Clearblue brand and has worked on the brand as a Global Creative Director for two years.

In 2008 Marisa starts working as Global Creative Director of PMI Parliament, Virginia Slims and Muratti for Global PMI Lausanne.
In the meantime she also works on campaigns for Campari, Aperol and several projects with a positioning in the luxury segment, e.g. the launch of Giampiero Bodino’s eponym collection of fine jewelry.

In the last few years she lead the strategic and creative development of Ferrero Kinder (global and local) and headed the digital campaigns for a number of brands under Beiersdorf Nivea.

Her involvement in the creation and direction of numerous global campaigns has lead Marisa to work with prestigious testimonials - such as Charlize Theron, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Edward Norton – and many great fashion and luxury photographers, as well as directors, of world fame.
