Brandie's work has been featured in Cutting Edge Advertising and Clueless in Marketing Communications? by Jim Aitchison, Creative Review, Contagious and in Campaign Brief Asia's The Work.
He has won over 200 local and international advertising creative and effectivity awards including Golds and other precious metals and certs at D&AD, Clio, One Show, AWARD Awards, DMA ECHO, Adfest, Bangkok Adman Awards, Spikes Asia, Digital Media Awards, London International Awards, Times Asia-Pacific Advertising Awards, Communication Arts and has helped the Academy of Art University develop its online advertising course.
He joined BBDO Guerrero in 2000 as Art Director where he handled the Pizza Hut, Pepsi, Visa and FedEx accounts.
In 2007, Brandie, along with his creative partner Tin Sanchez, won the Philippines' first ever Gold Lion for their work on the Lotus Spa Radio Campaign for JWT Philippines.
He then became one of the Joint Executive Creative Directors of Lowe Vietnam and helped the agency win many awards, including Cannes.
Brandie returned to BBDO Guerrero in 2008 as Head of Art and helped create the popular 'Lola Techie' campaign for Bayan Telecommunications which won the grand prize at the Philippine Ad Congress and other Golds including Asian Digital Media Awards.
Brandie was promoted to become BBDO Guerrero’s Joint Executive Creative Directors, along with Tin Sanchez. They lead the team to produce the “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” campaign.
He had just spent the last two years as Executive Creative Director of LOWE Malaysia, where has lead the team to win businesses, contributing to the growth of the agency.
Brandie is a graduate of the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines. He took post-graduate studies in Advertising Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
He is also a runner, photographer, fixed gear bike rider and slave to three black cats named Jack, Bruce and Dart.
