About me

I'm a writer, editor, and content producer who has, at one time or another, contributed everything from print features and digital content to marketing and promotion to video production and television - all with an eye towards creative engagement and humor. I've managed editorial teams, written celebrity profiles and in-depth longreads, pitched, written and produced comedy skits, managed brand-controlled social media accounts, done on-camera interviews, hosted professional panels, and been involved in just about anything else that can be read, watched, or shared.

Senior Editor

As part of the site’s original editorial team at its launch in 2000, I crafted much of the tone and style that still persists today. In addition, I managed a staff of editors, cultivated and maintained freelance contacts, promoting the site through social media, worked with ads/sales and marketing teams to develop Maxim-branded initiatives, and represented Maxim.com at press events, functions, on television, online, and on radio.
Head Writer, "Attack of the Show"
G4 Media
January 2005 - April 2007 (2 years 3 months)
As the first head writer on “Attack of the Show,” I was instrumental in crafting the voice of the program as it transitioned from the service-oriented “Screen Savers” to a pop culture news and entertainment show. This meant working closely with the hosts to establish the AOTS perspective, as well as bringing together a writing team to conceive and execute original comedy skits and franchises, such as “Set Diaries,” “One More Thing…” and “This Week in Suck.” I also worked closely with the show promotional department to craft and execute advertising initiatives.
