Hey, I'm Anais. (That rhymes.)
? Kiwi in Aus.? 10 years in ads. ✍️ Creative.
Feel free to stalk me on LinkedIn – otherwise, here's a little slice.
Tāmaki Makaurau —> Meanjin —> Naarm.
I won a Grand Prix at 26 and volunteer as National Creative Lead on Assisterhood – Australia and Aotearoa's leading mentorship program for underrepresented people in comms. Love this gig. Plus I judge awards, tutor AWARD School and speak on industry panels, universities, and podcasts.
Outside of that, I’m up early and barely home – chasing waves, live music, new plants, and leading an inclusive women-identifying run club for people who tolerate running.
I'm currently making fun ideas for good causes with Katelyn Testa – my hilarious creative other half. We’ve worked together for 3+ years and have known each other double. Both of us have experienced and seen different kinds of bias towards people we admire, which means we give even more of a shit about making sure our team is diverse and contributing to authentic, meaningful work. But we aren't above the stupid, simple stuff that makes you laugh either.
After almost ten years of making ads, 'One Less Present' is still my favourite idea. It didn't win a Lion, but it did raise over $300K across three Christmases to help abused Aussie kids. ? I think that's even better.
Cheers.
