María Luján Donaire is CCO Latin South at Ogilvy.
After getting her bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations at Universidad Católica Argentina, she began her career as a copywriter at DDB Argentina. She also worked at Ogilvy Argentina, Commonwealth (McCann), Geometry Global Argentina and HOY by Havas Buenos Aires.
For the last 15 years, she has worked on projects for Argentina and all over the world for very important brands, such as: Volkswagen, Coca-cola, Chevrolet, Unilever (Knorr, Hellmann's, Dove and AdeS), Clorox Latinoamérica, Huggies, Santander Río , Tang, Philips Argentina, SC Johnson, Cinemark, Osde, etc.
Many of her creative works have been awarded at Cannes Lions, Sol, Cresta Awards, PHNX (Ad-Forum Awards), Ojo de Iberoamérica, Diente, Wave, Fiap, Effie and Effie Latam.
The team she is working with has managed to position Hoy by Havas Buenos Aires on the Top Argentinian Agency of Latin America (Ojo de Iberoamérica 2022).
She was honored to be part of the jury at Cannes Lions 2023 (including Young Lions @Cannes), The One Show 2023, New York Festival 2023, Cresta Awards, Gerety Awards, PHNX, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Effie Latam and Argentina, Diente, Lápiz, Fiap, Achap, Locoto and Desachate.
Besides her job at the agency, she has been a speaker in many universities and has recently cofounded Círculo de Creativas Argentina. A community created to support and promote female talent at creative departments.
