Ralf started his career at the School of Visual Arts St. Gallen / Switzerland in Communication Arts and Graphic, before completing his postgraduate education in digital arts in New York and San Francisco. As a brand specialist, he has worked in leading advertising and branding agencies in Switzerland and abroad such as Publicis and Saatchi & Saatchi before he founded Zelebrand International. His roles have included creative director, art director, creative strategist and executive board member. He also worked as global head of brand creation for IWC Schaffhausen / Richemont International. This broad experience enables him to use creativity in a purposeful, business-relevant way.
Ralf Kostgeld was selected as a representative of Switzerland’s creative scene and invited to film his vision of 100 years of art. The resulting short film, Chez toi, created for the 100th birthday of the Kunsthaus Zurich, has been exhibited in the leading museum of art in Switzerland. The Swiss with Austrian and German roots has been a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a jury member for many national and international advertising and marketing festivals including Cannes Lions festival, ADC of Europe, Eurobest, Cresta Awards, ADC of Switzerland, etc. Ralf has won over 190 national and international awards, including a Gold World Medal at the New York Festival for the United Nations (UN) and recently Gold at the World Luxury Awards in Monaco.
As a member of the Advisory Board of Margaris Ventures (Margaris is ranked Global No. 1 Fintech, AI and Blockchain influencer by Onalytica), he takes care of the brand globally. Ralf is also on the advisory board of Q Ltd, the fastest-growing software agency in Europe (Deloitte Technology Fast 500TM EMEA). In his spare time, he supports talented young musicians as vice-president of the Unite Classics association.
