Samuel Torres

Born in Bogotá, Colombia and currently Senior Creative Copywriter at VML Colombia.

Samuel starts his career during his 5th semester while still studying at University. After a year of working, he travels to Buenos Aires and Spain to continue studying.

When he returns to Bogotá, he starts working at the creative department in Ogilvy & Mather Colombia, then went through the offices of Leo Burnett and TBWA in the same country. In 2015, he made the international leap, taking over as Creative Director of McCANN Bolivia, where he won the first Gold in the agency's El ojo de iberoamérica and helped position her as the best agency in the country according to the festival, in 2020 he decides to return to Colombia to join Ariadna where he leads a group of 32 creatives who carry out the work for 11 accounts of the operation in Colombia, currently joined the creative team at VML Bogotá D.C.

He has received awards at different creativity festivals and, in turn, has had the opportunity to be a jury at some of them, such as The New York Festivals, EFFIE Latam, The SOL, FIAP, Lisbon Awards, WINA, FICE and FEPI.
