David Smith

I’m Irish and living in London, I’ve been an Illustrator since the 1990s, mostly doing Storyboards for Ad Agencies. I love acting with the characters and love the challenge of having to draw anything under the sun at a moments notice.

I’m content working off just a script but prefer to work out some rough scamps with the Art Director first if possible.

I trained in traditional media and paint in oils in my free time but for storyboards I work completely digitally in Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq and also use an iPad Pro.

I’ve also taken a few good photographs over the years and have a little experience with adjustments in Photoshop.
