Daniel Montiel is founder and owner of Gitanos in Costa Rica, one of the strongest brand building agencies in the region. He provides professional advice to several and commercial clients in several countries in Latin America and the United States.
He has used his creative talents working for numerous clients, including Coca-Cola Company, Jeep, Mercedes Benz, Renault, Costa Rica Brewery (Imperial Beer), Essential Costa Rica (country brand), among others. He has participated in the graphic conceptualization of various political campaigns for the main political parties in Costa Rica and Central America.
Daniel shares his creative ideas as a jury at international advertising festivals such as the New York Festivals, Granada Creativa, FICE (Mexico) and FEPI (Independent Advertising Festival) -Argentina and WINA Festival. He has worked in important agency networks in Costa Rica, such as Lowe & Partners Worldwide, BBDO, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R. Throughout his career, Daniel has won more than 80 international awards at some of the major advertising festivals. It also has many publications in blogs and advertising magazines, being a benchmark for branding and design worldwide, for example it is ranked as #1 in Costa Rica and top 50 in the world in Lürzer's Archive magazine, it has also been selected several times within the " 200 Best Digital Artists worldwide ".
