Weicong got caught expressing his artistic talent at the age of three, taking every space as a canvas at home was his favourite pastime. Eighteen years later, you see him pushing the bar and resetting the boundaries for every brand that he is working on. Jumping into the business straight from school, he hasn’t looked back since.
He has worked on some of the finest brands, such as Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Tourism Board, Airbnb, Hilton Hotels Group, McDonald’s, Beam Suntory, Audi, WMF, Carlsberg, Coca-Cola and Mondelēz. Weicong not only sharpen his craft over the years, but also constantly improved his strategic thinking. He had picked up some awards from Clio, London International Awards, New York Festival, New York Festival AME Awards, Los Angeles Film Awards, New York Movie Awards, Spikes, Effie Awards, Cresta Awards, Ad Stars and Webby Awards along the way, and most recently helped crown McDonald’s Singapore as Marketer of the Year for the second time and a back-to-back title of Brand of the Year (Southeast Asia).
Currently leading Leo Burnett as a Creative Director, he believes he is only as good as his next piece of work.
