I started my career with 8 years as a creative writer/producer in local news (ATL, Richmond, VA; Seattle) and earned 2 Emmy noms along the way ... then, in 1999 (yep) I slithered down to LA, transitioned into casting unscripted (yep, reality TV) and scripted casting ... in 2009, I relocated to NYC and my morals were rescued when I started casting for branded content. Then, I returned to my creative roots and started Sammi Mendenhall Creative, Inc. where I earned a NY Emmy for a campaign I wrote/produced (yep, under my own umbrella). Now, many moons later, and under MENDENHALL + WEISS CASTING, we are a creative casting duo has a stellar track record of casting some pretty awesome spots for brands ranging from AT&T, to McDonald's, to Walt Disney World.
