On Saturday night, 22nd Feb, I had the absolute pleasure of witnessing Queensland’s finest talent in action. Last year, I worked with Queensland Theatre as the CASTING PRODUCER for Pride and Prejudice, and seeing it all come together on stage was truly rewarding. A huge congratulations to the entire cast and creative team for delivering such an incredible production! As many of you know, I’m a passionate advocate for Queensland artists and keeping talent thriving right here in our state. Creating meaningful work and sustainable opportunities is key, and Queensland Theatre’s Artistic Director, Daniel Evans, alongside Bridget Boyle, have done just that. Kudos to the brilliant creative team and cast: Queensland’s creative industry is thriving, and I’m excited to see more productions that showcase our incredible local talent.
