For over 20 years, Liz Taylor has been celebrated as one of the most forward-thinking creative leaders in the industry. Renowned for her collaborative and empowering leadership style, she excels at helping local and global brands find their authentic voices in a rapidly evolving world.
Liz is currently the Global Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy, overseeing the creative output across 132 offices in 83 countries. Her role spans the agency’s five business units: Advertising, PR, Experience, Health, and Growth & Innovation.
Before joining Ogilvy, Liz served as Global Chief Creative Officer for Leo Burnett and Chief Creative Officer for Publicis Communications North America. She was also a Founding Partner of Le Truc, an innovative business model connecting creativity across the Publicis Groupe.
Her career highlights include iconic, culture-shaping campaigns for brands such as Budweiser, Gatorade, Clorox, Wrigley, Michelob Ultra, Morton Salt, GE, Kimberly-Clark, and Boeing. Her work has appeared on Super Bowl stages, in the Museum of Modern Art, on the Billboard charts, and across the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, Fast Company, and Rolling Stone.
Liz has been recognized as an Ad Age “Woman to Watch” and a member of the Adweek “Creative 100.” Her numerous accolades include honors from Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, AdForum PHNX, Epica, ANDYs, and Effies. She has also contributed to shaping the creative industry as a jury member for top-tier awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, and One Show. As an advocate for workplace equality, Liz served as an inaugural jury chair for the Athena Advertising Awards, created in partnership with the 3% Movement.
A proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Portfolio Center, Liz is based in her native Chicago. When she isn’t busy driving creative excellence, she’s at home with her husband, her Goldendoodle, and occasionally her two college-aged kids. Liz also finds joy in writing a memoir, indulging her love of fashion, vintage t-shirts, mid-century modern furniture, and poker. For her, binge-watching and devouring pop culture are not just hobbies—they’re essential sources of inspiration.
